Galactic War has disrupted planets, towns, and families all over the colonized cosmos. Communities are reeling from the impact. But several colonies have opened their doors to the families and species who have lost their homes and loved ones. Many families have become mixed species by adopting or fostering those that are lost or hurt. These are their stories. Some are touching. Some are humorous. And some are horrifying, because not all blended alien families, adoptions or fosters turn out well.
You get to choose the planetary system and species and describe the galactic upset that leads to this Alien Family Value–or simply jump into the middle of family life. Be sure to describe your family, species, and fosters/adoptees so that the reader can understand the dynamics of the story.
