Raconteur Press Author Spotlight: M.C.A. Hogarth!
She's got your space marines right here.
M.C.A. Hogarth is the author of over 70 science fiction and fantasy novels, and is best known for her 35+ book Peltedverse space opera setting. She also paints, likes handwriting, and makes up languages for fun.
Her story “Sister Prissa’s Philters” is featured in our current anthology Goblin Market!
The market closed at last, and little Karsie helped Pristine tote her items home again. As always, everything had been sold, save her tablecloth, and her bowl and ewer, and her little cards. All of those returned with her. She thanked her helper and set her cottage in order…and when the night waxed, she slipped outside, into the wood, dancing its silvered path. Somewhere along it she doffed her skin for her true shape, daintier than any human, with cream-foamed mane and silver eyes and a horn as narrow as a willowsecret. Beneath the moon, she gavotted, and where her cloven hooves kissed the earth, they chimed. - From “Sister Prissa’s Philters” by M.C.A. Hogarth
She is definitely pleasant company.
