This Week at Raconteur Press! Aug 4-10

We're back in the saddle!
2

Here’s all the pulpy goodness we have lined up in the near future!

  • We ride hard into this week with the release of Coffee Adventures with King Harv’s! The perfect cuppa joe. The nectar of the gods. The demon bean. Join us for fantastical stories concerning the adventures of finding the oh-so-perfect plant.

From Dave at King Harv’s Coffee:

“It all began when we took over the dome at the old South Pole to use as a coffee greenhouse.  As you undoubtedly well know, the coffee was banned from world trade by that ridiculous Antarctic treaty, and it became clear to us that coffee grown on alternate planets and celestial objects was the only thing that made economic sense. Shockingly, this has never been reported on in the mainstream media!”

  • Contracts for Big Ones: Stories of an Alternate WWII go out August 10! Stay glued to your inboxes!

  • Moggie Noir 2 is open for submissions! Cats, noir, spectacular tails! You know the drill! All you cool cats need to get to typing, though. Submissions for this one closes this Friday, August 9.

  • We Be Tripping is open for submissions! Tell us travels full of hijinks and strange circumstances, danger, humor, and odd encounters as we journey through the universe, the neighborhood, or across town. What about that time where you and your buddy got lost on the way to the great noodle bar on Asteroid B-643? Got a good anecdotal story from real life? We’ll consider that, too. Closes August 23.

  • Submit stories to Wyrd West 2, unless you’re yella! Witches, and werewolves and cowboys, oh my! Okay, maybe not so much with the werewolves this time?

  • Space Cowboys 6 opened for submissions August 4, with guest editor J.L Curtis! Cowboys have a certain reckless reputation and that doesn’t fade away when you move them into the final frontier of space and onto alien worlds. Men and women face hardships and make a living out of an unforgiving landscape without waiting for permission from some distant authority. They do what needs to be done and take care of their own.
