-Once you figure out that "uh" means "a", you can read it more smoothly.

-"You dog-goned, ossified, bow-legged, paralytic son of..." Stylish insult.

-"You know how a feller loses his head when he’s spifflikated." This really made me laugh. That and using "Deer' at the start of the letter instead of "Dear". Them cowboys weren't all literate-like...

de-lightful! The colloquialisms didn’t bother except for “uh” for “a”, but I’m old, used to read a lot of that sort of thing, and now work as an editor with some similar.

Other than when Ren introduced himself as Sig, I had no issues reading this. But I'm old and used to reading this style.

Very good way of drawing in the reader with the dialogue and writing to get the feel of the genre. I've edited Scottish romance and Amish romance, and other genres where you have to get a little creative. So, this works. Thanks for sharing.
