Sounds great, and we have a nephew just coming up to the age range for that book!

though I have a question - I'm eyeing this as a Christmas present for the boy, but was wondering when should I order it? Do you guys need the sales most at the beginning of a release, or can it be later? Cause on the one hand, I very much want to support you as much as I can! But on the other, I tend to lose Christmas presents that I order too early, and would likely put this somewhere and then forget where I put it by December.....

It’s not going away. Buy it when it works for you!

That looks like the cover that was the second favorite cover versus the favorite cover that looks more science fiction?

Our cover styles are determined by our lead designer-and designed based on the current market trends and signals required to be present on the cover in the book’s current category on Amazon. That analysis led to our choice here.

Your lead designer is a genius and I absolutely would not argue with her.

Mr Freer,

I found this to be a very good juvie/YA scifi story. Believable characters and growth. (being scifi, one has to suspend some belief).

I'm hoping that you have a sequel in the works, with the children and Snarky a little older and grown. Hopefully a "pod" (family) of storm dragons are found, Snarky is united with his kind, relations grow between humans & storm dragons.

(hopefully not a spoiler below)

Oh, and the Gaths are on the run back to their home planet, soundly defeated.
